tomonori shirasaki ("we," "us," or "the developer") operates the "Mimu" mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

1. Information We Collect

The App does not collect personally identifiable information such as your name or email address.

• No account or sign-in is required to use the App. There is nowhere in the App where you are asked to provide a name, email address, or other identifying information.
• The App uses Google's Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand feature usage and diagnose crashes. This collects anonymous, aggregate usage statistics (e.g. how often a feature is used, crash frequency) that are not used to identify you personally. Advertising-related tracking (collection of the IDFA or similar advertising identifiers) is explicitly disabled. See Google's Privacy Policy for details: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

2. Microphone Access

The App requests access to your device's microphone solely so you can record yourself while practicing an instrument.

• Any audio you record is stored on your device.
• Recordings are never transmitted to the developer's servers or to any third party.
• The App has no feature to share or publish your recordings externally.
• If you have iOS's built-in "iCloud Backup" enabled on your device, your recordings may be backed up, in encrypted form, to your own iCloud storage. This happens through Apple's standard device backup mechanism; the developer and other third parties do not access or view your recordings through this process. You can exclude the App's data from iCloud Backup at any time in your device's Settings.
• You can delete a recording at any time from within the App. Uninstalling the App also removes all locally stored recordings.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, share, or otherwise disclose any personal information or usage data to third parties, because none is collected.

4. Advertising

The App does not display advertisements.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at any specific age group and does not knowingly collect information from children. Because the App has no data-collection functionality at all, this applies equally regardless of the user's age.

6. Changes to This Policy

If future features (such as optional cloud sync) change what information the App handles, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly, and material changes will be noted on this page. The App offers an in-app purchase (a one-time unlock of Pro features, not a subscription). Purchases are processed through Apple's App Store; payment details are never shared with the developer.
